multi-KETs pilot production demonstration projects

One of the activities of the project was to organize Demonstrators to both 1) Collect policy and practical experiences in conducting pilot production activities as input for policymaking, as well as 2) Demonstration of pilot production activities to third parties in order to share experiences.

As a result of a call for tender to act as a multi-KETs pilot production demonstration project, the European Commission selected 4 pilot production activities as demonstrators for the mKPL project.

The demonstrators were analysed in detail by the mKPL team in a policy assessment with the aim to collect experiences in conducting pilot production activities as input for policy making. Furthermore, the demonstrators acted as a demonstration of pilot production activities to third parties in order to share experiences.

The four demonstrators were:

Acreo, Norrköping, Sweden: Printed Electronics Arena (PEA) Manufacturing, a shared facility pilot production activity for printed electronics.
